Caroline Ward, Community Development Lead at Waterbeach for Urban&Civic, said: “Waterbeach New Town has strong links with the village, and we were delighted to be one of the main sponsors for Waterbeach Feast again this year. It was wonderful to see so many local groups, volunteers and residents coming together to create such a memorable day. Events like Waterbeach Feast celebrate community spirit, showcase local talent and help raise funds for important local organisations and charities. I was delighted to be part of the judging panel and to see the creativity and enthusiasm that went into the floats and costumes in this year’s parade.”

Alistair Pentland, Chair of Waterbeach Community Association, said: “Waterbeach Feast is a great community event that really highlights the best of village life. It brings everyone from the village together to have a good time and raises money for our local clubs, groups and charities. This would not be possible without the support of local companies and businesses that contribute to the cost of holding the Feast.
“Waterbeach Community Association is very grateful to Urban&Civic for their continued support of both the Feast and community litter picks, and we were very glad that they accepted our invitation to provide one of the judges this year.”
