To help those looking to take up a new sport or activity in 2026, over 30 local clubs and groups will be showcasing what they have to offer and providing information on how people can get involved.
Highlights will include free taster sessions and demonstrations of Baby Gym, Rugby Tots, Archery, Martial Arts and Jazzercise. The Playground, which transformed the former Barrack’s old Royal Engineers’ assault course into a modern fitness challenge, will also be offering free taster sessions from 11.30am-1pm.

Fiona Reardon-Rose, Communications and Partnerships Manager for Urban&Civic, said: “Our Health and Wellbeing Fair is a great way to kickstart healthy new year’s resolutions and try a variety of sports and activities, to find the right fit before signing up for regular sessions.
“As well as sport facilities including squash and tennis courts, the sports hall, studio and community rooms, Waterbeach has extensive footpaths and cycleways throughout the development to support active lifestyles for all ages and abilities. Organised water sports including swimming and paddleboard will also be back on the lake this summer.”
Come along to Waterbeach’s Health and Wellbeing Fair to explore the wide range of classes and groups available in the local area to support a healthy body and mind this year. All sessions are free and although booking is not required, it is advised to avoid disappointment by emailing hello@waterbeachwb.co.uk.
The show homes of Stonebond and Cala will also be open and available to view. No need to book an appointment, drop into their sales offices to find out more about how you can make Waterbeach your home.
